A NEW HI-TECH AMADA LASER IS RAISING QUALITY LEVELS EVEN MORE AT GILTRAP AND ALLOWS FOR EASY PRODUCT CUSTOMISATION

Giltrap recently introduced a rotary index laser cutter to its production equipment, which is improving quality, customisation flexibility and delivery time performance to its customers.

The 3015-RI from Japan has the ability to laser cut carbon or stainless steel flat sheet up to 25mm thick, as well as performing 3D tube cutting of structural sections up to 220mm diameter.

"This is a major leap forward in our manufacturing capability at Giltrap, and along with the robotic welding systems we also have, puts us at the forefront of any New Zealand or Australian agricultural machinery manufacturer, in terms of the technology we have embraced to produce world class products" says Craig Mulgrew, Managing Director at Giltrap Engineering.
